ICWAI CMA Intermediate, Final December 2012 Results & Pass Percentage
The examinations of CMA Foundation, Final and Intermediate are conducted by IC(W)AI twice a year in the months of June and December. After appearing for CMA Final / CMA Intermediate examinations, students eagerly wait for CMA intermediate / final results. CMA Foundation December 2012 examination results are declared by ICMAI on 1st Feb 2013. CMA Final results are generally declared after the 60 to 75 days of examination, i.e. in 2 to 2.5 months after the finishing date of examination. ICWAI CWA / CMA Final & Intermediate December 2012 Result date is officially declared by ICWAI which is 21st Feb 2013.

Marks Sheet and Pass Certificates
Marks Sheet
All the students irrespective of their result, (whether they pass or fail the examination) will receive a marks list indicating the marks obtained in each subject/paper.
Pass Certificate
All the candidates passing in both the groups of this level would also receive in addition to the marks memo, a pass certificate as a proof of passing the level. This will be sent by post to the address mentioned in the application for examination.
Membership Certificate
Membership certificate which indicates that the candidate is a member of the institution is different from the above pass certificate. To get this certificate the candidate should satisfy some other additional conditions and undergo practical training as needed.
Verification of ICWAI Intermediate/Final December 2012 Answer Papers
Information as to whether a candidates answers to each question in any particular subject or subjects at any examination have been examined and marked or not may be supplied to a candidate.
Time Limit for making application
A candidate may apply to the institute within a period of 30 days from the declaration of the results of the examination.
Verification Fee
The fee for verification is Rs.100 per paper.
Application
Application should be made in the prescribed form and should be sent along with the requisite fee. For more information on application form you should visit ICWAI official website @ http://www.icwai.org.
Note:
Revaluation of answers is not permissible and the fee is only for verifying whether all the answers of the examinee have been valued or not and whether the counting of total marks is correct or not.

Icwai has gone mad, like stupid they are checking and announcing results. THis is the 7th consecutive time they have hammered final results which is avg 1.5-2.5 % whereas on other hand CA has a passing % of avg 16-18 %, jus dnt knw wts is CWA up to?
Already poor in bringing placements and offering good package, such results have actually added the problems. With CA results booming, CWA are finding it very difficult to crack down and these stupid corporates are only going by name.
Also the growing fee structure is matter of concern for CWA. It is now assumed that due to shortage of funds the members are hammering the results so that they can earn revenue from exam forms and re-valuation. RTI should be applied for the institute to stop this babugiri.
I request these CWA board members to have some uniformity and assess the sutuation as this will only stop candidates from getting into course.
If not assessed now, one can imagine what would be the future of a Cost Accountant and the institute.

No doubt, ur question agst. cma institute right. If we see final sylabs vry-2 huge & whr is the cost a/c paper in final which is specialty for cost acountant.

U knw wt these people verify papers nt on merit bt on random basis and they have certain marks fixed to allot. For eg evn u knw ur objective questions are 100 % correct and u knw for rest of the paper u have done fair enough good bt still i bet these will give u marks below 30. which u r sure u can get that only in objectives, there is jus no specific way to check.
yes, i agree. The result is based on a random selection. Hard work has no scope for CMA, Stupid institution.

Hi Rahul.With all due respect i wouldn’t agree with you completely.If you are aware of the current market reputation you ll notice that CA reputation has come down cause of this massive pass %.(16-18 % & sometimes even higher).There are large no. of CAs without jobs or having jobs with meagre salaries.A discussion whether it is better to be jobless with a CA degree or without it has been lurking in every CA forum as well as in the minds of these young CAs. And in all honesty, knowing a few that have passed out CA Final recently, there is definite drop in the standard & knowledge of these latest CAs. Understand this, that if our pass % will come to the CA mark, we will lose our credibility as well, slowly but surely.
About your point bout Coporates, couldn’t agree with you more. They care of the degree rather than the knowledge & skill a person possesses. We have a vaster & more diff curriculum, plus we have a much less success ratio. We must be given credit for that, therefore better jobs than our counterparts(CA). Its probably upto us, I mean the young generation of CMAs to start shaking things up, participate in the admin & try & do right of whats going wrong!!

I totally appreciate ur view. But u knw wat if u take this in a long term perspective, those CA’s who have passed recently though will nt find a job now bt after yrs with wateve exp thy will hav they will again prove to be superior and dts jus caz of d degree they hold irrespective of knowledge.
For this it is very imp for our institute to take some actions and try to improve our status. For this ofcourse we are gona play a very imp role in improving our image.
With all due respect for those who have to earn for their family with no much of option to wait, I request u all that please dnt degrade our degree. Dnt work on few bugs (10-20 k) to make option available to employers to grab a cheap CMA. If we all refuse to work on a lower compensation, these corpoarates have to rethink.

what is the passing percentage of inter, final -Dec,2012 ?
Not declared by ICWAI yet……..
Officially institute does not declare in the fear that there would be loss of students and thus revenue, neway after confirming the appearants over all the chapter in india the estimated for final were 36000 out of which approx 1000 passed out completely. so & passing approx. 3 % and for Gropu 3- 2 % and Group 4 – 2.5 %.
The appearants may be more than this bt definetely not less dats for sure.

definitely the pass % need to be improved. Institute can’t expect professors to write exams. If the students knows every thing they can better coach than writing exams. I also agree with earlier comments..when some one is very sure of all the objectives and atlest 30 marks out of other answers he must atleast get 50 to 60 and definitely not below 30. Some thing is not going well.
